Canon IR ADV C3520III | Scan and Send | TX Incomplete

Hello, dear colleagues!

 

As mentioned in the Subject i have an issue with formentioned printer while trying to send scanned documents by using gmail free smtp server.

 

To begin with:

- Using last available firmware

- Network settings are correct (i'm able to add it as a printer and print to it, in addition i did downloaded firmware via web-interface)

- Third-apps are allowed to access gmail account from which i

- Gmail account password is correct

- SMTP server connection establishes via all three ports: 25,465,587 (checked all of them and received from web-interface and each time it showed me this image)

Printer restarted. So all settings are correct.

 

This is how my Network Settings - E Mail / Fax Settings looks like

As a result: after i'm trying to send scan from printer to my email address it prints me TX report with next message:


TX INCOMPLETE -----

Destination "my email"

 

Any advice?

Does anyone know how to set up scan to email or scan to computer on a imageclass 445dw. Canon instructions are terrible and customer service never answers. HELP!!

Is it possible to scan two sides of a document using ScanGear?  I have never figured out if I can get two images into one.

 

My source is Document (grayscale), Destination OCR, Output Size flexible.

I-SENSYS MF643Cdw MF Scan Utility Error

This seemes to be a big problem if you search the internet. Also I have got one answer on your phone support and there are dussins of "solutions" online - non wich seem to take a "whole grip" on the situation... I get this when trying to open the Canon MF Scan Utility. Also when trying to use the scan function on the printer LCD screen I get the error msg "Connect the computer." Printing works fine!

 

[ Canon I-sensys MF 643cdw , baught 2020-12 ]

 

-Windows 10, latest updates

-Non auto select standard printer in windows settings (as one solutions said in this forum)

-No firewall activated at the moment (as one solution said in this forum)

-Deleted and re-installed drivers and software 10 times (and restarted computer)...

-The only thing I havent really tryed is to update the printers firmware and that is becuase Your updater (software) claims that I must use USB cable or ethhernet-cable. Your software states it should not be done using WIFI (why the hell not?)

 

Tryed other drivers as solution by Canon phone support (wich was very bad swedish spoken by your support assistant and I could hear on the delay that he was no sitting in Sweden). Bad Swedish and bad sound = bad support. Just cancel your swedish support if you are not gonna even try!

 

With this forum post I hope to recive excellent support as per this is a office printer and not home printer

filter failed message only for certain print jobs

I have a Canon MF8200.  It usually prints fine, but right now it is not printing a particular PDF document, saying "filter failed" as the message in the printer icon window.  It does print other documents like word docs right now.

mf645cx scanner driver not installing

When trying to install the latest drivers, Windows 64bit, MF645Cx MFDrivers, I can install the printer and the fax but it failed to install the scanner and asks to try again.

I have uninstalled the printer and the drivers and tried again but I get the same error. I have also disabled the Windows Firewall and my Anti-virus software. I have also ran SFC /scannow and all the dism commands When trying to install the drivers manually I get an error saying it is not the right divers for the printer Windows can detect the printer itself and install it itself, but it still doesn't detect the scanner.

I have managed to install this on to other computers without a problem.

Anything else I should try?

MB2300 won't allow cartridge change

When I open the door to try to change a non-printing cartridege (no warning message has been shown), the printer's screnn simply warns me that the front cover is open. The installed software also, suddenly, claims that the printer is not connected but still allows me to print. MacBook Pro, OS X 10.14.2

imagePROGRAF 500 - INK Forever missing

Hello, I had a terrible idea to buy the imagePROGRAF 500.

It is exactly the same as imagePROGRAF 1000, but for asia, so the ink that this printer can use ( PFI-50 ) is never abailble, out of stock for MONTH and MONTH. while you wait, for a colour, the other colour will lose their ink little by little.

you need 12 different cartridge of 50 USD each.

 

I'm really disappointed, and you cannot use the PFI-1000 INK of the other printer...

It looks like they produce a tiny amount a ink per year, so this printer is a giant useless block.

 

Do someone have an idea of what could I do ? some unnoficial INK ? some technique to be able to use the PFI-1000 ?

Color imageClass MF8080Cw - not scanning but prints docs

I have a new HP Laptop, Windows10. My Printer is in subject line.  Installed drivers from Canon.  Control Panel shows: Canon MF8000C Series UFRII LT.  Windows 10 "Fax and Scan Pgm" shows scanner: MF8000C series.  Clicking on "new scan" there is no communication between the laptop to printer not even error messages.  However, I can print.  Any suggestions or recommendations are so welcomed. ty.

C5760I: sending recognizable emails (myself@uniflow)

After the new office printers (C5760i)  were installed, they were all identified as Uniflow printers (instead of printer 1, 2, 3,...). Scanning + Mailing documents now composes an email that is unrecognisable in the headers. Whereas before the email would come from a certain printer sender ID (printer 1, 2 ,3 ...), they now all arrive from the same sender ID "myself@uniflow".

 

Outlook rules that were setup (based on printer IDs in combination with certain adressees) do not work anymore because the sender is allways the same. This makes it next to impossible to set up Outlook rules for regular reports that are being sent within the company. 

 

We can circumvent this by adding a message, subject. However this all has to be done manually with each scan/mail-job and makes it a tedious task.

 

Is it possible to give a standardised message / subject / sender ID /... to a certain printer to solve this issue? Other ideas?

macOS v11.2 Big Sur

I've recently upgraded to macOS Big Sur v11.2 and I'm trying to print to an ImageRunner Advance C7565i III. When I attempt to install the recommended driver, I receive the warning "the following disk images couldn't be opened: UFRII_v10.19.7_Mac 2.dmg; Reason: image not recognized". Repeated attempts yield the same result.

 

When I tried using the (earlier) 10.19.6 driver version, the installer will open, but I get the message "Cannot install on this version of the operating system you are using".

 

I wonder if I'm the only one having this issue.

Canon LB96230/6240 only printing frames/images

MF743cdw will not scan

Purchased new Image Class MF743cdw all in one. Have two desktop win 10 computers I want to use it with. Neither computer has a wireless card in them. I have a Netgear R6400v2 router I would like to connect the printer to, then have each computer be able to use the print and scan functions when it is available. I have the Netgear Ready Share USB control center software loaded onto each computer. I have downloaded the driver package direct from Canon website and loaded each computer. Working with Canon support loading both computers we could not make either computer scan using the canon scan utility. We tried everything from reloading all drivers and programs, to direct connecting the MF743 to one computer with the same problem. We did reload drivers to be usb connected on the single computer test.

I said all that and need to add that I used a MF733cdw setup the exact same way with the Netgear R6400 and it worked till I woreout the 733. But the 743 will not communicate with either computer to scan. Both computers will print all day long but neither will communicate to scan.

MF4570dn Will Not Print

This printer stopped printing/scanning a few years ago when I installed Windows 10.  Now, several laptops later, I decided to try and get it working with my 8 month old laptop. 

 

I switched Windows out of S mode to Windows Home because the drivers from this site would not install in Windows S mode. Donwloaded and installed both drivers for the MF4570dn from this site.  Windows located the printer, but no test page would print with a generic message "error".  Windows printers troubleshooter's only suggestion was to purge the print que, but cancelling print jobs and retrying had no different result...test page would print.  I tried printing other document types and same generic "error" message.

 

At this point, I've restarted the laptop, tried removing and adding the printer in every single port in the list and reinstalled the drivers from this site.

 

I need this printer to start working again.  Please help.

How to deploy drivers through Intune

Hi,

 

We have a Canon C7570i copier and i want to deploy the drivers to a group of users.

I have search the web on using Microsoft Azure Intune for the deployment of "Canon Generic Plus UFR II" driver but without result.

Is it possible to do the deployment / setup through Intune? or is there any where i can accomplish this deployment?

MF632Cdw will not print Word documents unless in PDF format

Recently, documents or spreadsheets in Word/Excel plus documents off the web print only random lines.  If I save the doc in PDF format (and indicate print image in printer settings), the doc will print.  Running OS 11.2 - anyone else experiencing this problem.

LBP151dw won't print text

I am on a mac with MacOs 11.2

The printer will print the header and footer of document but will not print the text within the body of the document.
