How can I fix e078-0000 Primary transfer disengagement mechanism error on my mf733cdw? This machine was a very recent purchase. The printer won't leave the error screen even with power cycling.

Though very old, this photo copier is still running. However, have a small issue with the top feeder, where the mechanism within is clipping off the paper as it feeds, like a notched effect. Does anyone know how to fix or if Canon even makes parts for this unit?

Imageclass D1370 and scan to email
I don't know if anyone has been able to achieve this but I've been pulling my hair trying to configure scan to email. I've used both hotmail and gmail and none of them work.

Error 255 for MF726cdw
I've had this printer for almost 2 years. When it was only a month old, I got the 255 error and Canon told me to fix the ipv4 address. That worked.
Got error again several months ago. Canon told me to power off, unplug, let it sit 20 minutes, then reconnect and restart my laptop. This allowed a power build up to drain off. It worked.
A month or two back, 255 became a daily issue. Now it doesn't always clear up with the process. I've reinstalled drivers, let printer sit for a day or two. Results unpredictable.
Canaon now says only support is through this forum.
Any suggestions? Or do I have a 40 pound white boat anchor?

Canon MF632cdw AirPrint Scanning Unavailable
In the recent weeks, my imageClass MF632cdw has lost the ability to scan to a network connected Mac (Mac OS 10.12.8, same LAN as printer) via AirPrint. I was able to until a few weeks ago and no changes have been made to the printer or the computer since that time. Is this a known unsolved issue, a known issue with a solution, or an unknown issue?

Canon IPF 700 ICC settings for canvas
Thanks for reading this. I'm brand new to this. I was able to pick-iup a Canon IPF 700 inexpensively in an effort to try printing my pictures at home on canvas. The drop-down menu on the printer does not list canvas nor does the software I have. Can someone please give me an idea what slection I should try to use first as a starting point.

MF733Cdw giving #853 via Google Cloud Print (Linux and Android)

Printing to a PDF then printing the PDF doesn't help. The recipe fails both from an Android device and from Chrome on my Linux laptop. In both cases the print is going through Google Cloud Print. I can see the print job in the printer's web page and it is listed with error code #853. Google Cloud Print reports the job as 'Printed'.
I found the following page but given that the file is quite small, half a page, it isn't obvious what I should be doing to address this.

Remote Address Book setup?
We have a Canon IR-ADV C5240 and C5235. For years, we've manually configured the address book for employees at both printers. It's time for some automation. I can see in the documentation that these printers can connect to a "remote address book", but nowhere do I find any description of what they're connecting to.
1) Can I set one printer to be a "master" address book, then have the other printer get the book from it? At least that way, I have to manually update data at only one location, cutting the manual work in half.
2) Can I set the printer to use names/emails from an email list in Active Directory/Exchange? That way, the list is kept updated through other means. Very convenient.
3) Finally, is there some application that I can install on a Windows machine that then serves as a Canon Address Book service provider? Where do I find this installer?

trouble with destination folders in the quick utility toolbox
I have a MB 5120. It's hooked up to my network and works great except for one thing. I can't set up a scan "destination folder" using the Quick Utility Toolbox. The printer shows up in the printer list. When I click "destination folder" I am prompted for the administrator password which is the serial number. That works. I am able to connect to a network folder and type in the "displayed name" of that folder.
When I click "connection test" I get Folder Setting Utility: "Printer is not responding. Check that the printer is connected properly and the power is on."
This is confusing because my computer sees the printer just fine. I can print to it. When I type in the network address I can see it. The Quick Utility Toolbox can see it.
Any idea why I get the "Printer is not responding" warning?

Can't get MF4780w to scan wirelessly
Hi there,
I have never tried to scan wirelessly. I assume it is possibly to scan wirelessly with the MF4780w.
I am able to print wirelessly, but so far I have had no luck to get it to scan. Can anyone please help me? Maybe I need to be guided through the setup process to help with wireless scanning.
I primarly use a PC (Windows 10) to print and scan. From time to time I use a laptop to print (wirelessly) and would like to use it to scan wirelessly too.
I don't know what information is required to assist me, but I am very happy to supply it.

Prints with gray haze/background
Canon Imageclass733Cdw ... this never happened before ... it's starting printing every document with a gray haze/background (not spots). It's light gray over the entire background of the paper. I've checked/changed paper quality on the machine and in the paper tray, cleaned fixing assembly (several times), put "prevent fogging" on, adjusted gradation, read the manual ... and am now losing my mind. Please help!

MFC634cdw, Mac OSX 10.14.1 Mojave, newest drivers broken
I've been using this printer with Word 2011 for Mac succesfully for years. Last week I installed Office 365 (since the 2011 version of Office for Mac is at end-of-life). I was unable to print envelopes with Word 365 (version 16.19) so I installed new Canon drivers from their website, MF Printer Driver & Utilities for Macintosh V10.11.1. This turned out to be a huge mistake, as I was no longer able to print envelopes from Word 2011 either (fortuantely I kept the old Word app on my computer). I also updated the printer firmware, which made no difference. I don't know how printer drivers communicate with application software, but it appears the new driver doesn't inform the application correctly about available formats that include manualy fed envelopes in rotated orientation (narrow edge inserted into the printer). After a lot of fiddling, including attempting to restore only /Library/Printers, I gave up and restored the entire hard drive to its state before updating the Canon drivers. Now I can at least print envelopes from Word 2011 again with the old drivers. Possibly with some coaxing Word 365 could print envelopes too (it appears new options are exposed to the user in a panel under "Mailings"), but I haven't spent much time as this has been a bigtime waster so far. I hope the Canon drivers can be updated.

MF632 Copy Is Smaller Than Original
On occassion, I need to copy something and need the copy to be as close to the original in size as possible. I imagine I can mess with the scaling options but am wondering if there is a way to permanently 'calibrate' the size of the copied image instead of having to go thru a trial and error period when I need precision.

Direct Print or Scan from MF machines?
I have an old imageCLASS LBP7660Cdn which supports Direct Print from the web ui.
Do any of the imageCLASS MF machines support the same feature? I've been looking through the manuals but I can't seem to find any that support it.
I see the imageRUNNER machines support a similar feature but those are way out of my price range.
Are there any devices that support Direct Scan from the web ui?

ipf605 startup error
Our trusted ipf 605 suddenly stopped functioning. only splash screen comes up w Image Prograf logo. then nothing happens. Tried resetting to service mode, no luck.
Any suggestions?

MF635CX: Not able to log into sendsupport
I bought this printer 2 days ago. I am unable to log into the sendsupport screen, and so I am not able to set up the "scan to shared folder" function.
The error I am getting is:
"The entered value is incorrect, or you do not have privileges to perform settings."
I have disabled the System Admin PIN, but still this is the result.
Please help!

Scan to Preset Destination MF424dw Mac OS 10.14
Hello all!
I just purchased an MF424dw, and I'm attempting to set up the "Scan to Preset Destination" option on my Mac running Mac OS 10.14. I've used a similar option on an older printer and eventually got it to work, but I'm getting error messages anytime I try to scan.
Here are the steps I've taken so far:
-Created a shared "Scans" Folder on my desktop.
-Went into System Preferences>Sharing. Turned on file sharing and added the "Scans" Folder into my shared folders and allowed my user account permissions to read & write to that folder.
- Enabled "Share files and folders using SMB" and enabled my user account for Windows File Sharing.
-Logged into the ImageClass Remote UI Portal, created a new scan option in "Address Book" with these settings:
Protocol: Windows (SMB)
Host Name: 192..... (my Mac's IP address)
Folder Path: 192.../Scans
I've tried many other options for Host Name and folder path, such as smb://192... for host name and /Users/anthony/Desktop/Scans for file path. I think I've tried 20 different combinations so far today.
And I've entered my username and password correctly.
I've had similar problems on my last scanner as well, and it came down to the correct format for Host name and Folder path. I've looked online for hours and can not find a single document that says how to correctly enter those fields (everything I read shows something different.)
Is there a specific/recommended format I should use with my MF424dw? Is there any other information anyone can give that would help me. (My login user name for my Mac has a space in it, I'm also wondering if that could be the problem.)
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!!
