I bought a Canon ImageClass MF634cdw scanner/printer this year and it was working fine. I use the Canon MF Scan Utility and it will work when scanning single sided. However, if I click the box to scan both sides under Settings, then when I try to scan nothing happens. It "thinks" for a moment then nada. I've tried restarting and tried changing other settings to no avail.

I recently installed the TS9120 on my home network and am having problems with printing to it via a Windows 10 computer. The printer wakes up, prints the job, but after printing, a window pops up on the Windows computer saying "Printer not responding". It's like the message that the print was successful did not get back to the computer. Eventually, the computer will send the job again, which will print again, but not clear the job. At one point I had a full paper tray's worth of the same one-page print job.
Somehow the fact that the job was successful is not getting back to the computer. I can cancel the "successful" print job but I have to stand by the printer for the job, let it time out to pop up the dialog, then cancel it. It's a major inconvienence.

I have several offices that all got this same new MFP and I am only having issues at office B. Office B has been having an issue faxing. They were able to send faxes fine, but they could not receive them from certain numbers - mainly 800 and local numbers; however, they did receive a few long distance faxes too. None of our other offices have been able to fax to Office B since Office B received the new machine - we get reports of a busy/no signal error message. ALL offices were able to fax to Office B right up to the day the new machine was installed. We purchased a seperate, stand-alone Brother fax machine and hooked it up as a tester - we still have the same issue. I've reached out to our maintenance provider with Canon contract, our internal IT department, and our phone line provider and NO ONE can find any issue. They also can't explain why the issue is happening. All I know is, the issue started the DAY we installed the new machine at this office, so it makes me think it is an issue with Canon. To also note, all of our offices fax numbers are all through the same provider, and we are only having issues with the one office. We also use the same IT company for all offices - they've mirrored our settings to Office B's settings and it's still not working properly.
Has anyone experienced an issue like this? Is it possible there is faulty equipment in the new Canon machine that's causing the faxing to go down intermittenly? All other features on the machine are working normally.
I've had my MF731C for about 6 weeks. For the first 3 weeks, everything worked fine. Then when I scan with the doc feeder, I get a totally scrambled image. Flatbed works fine, firmware is up to date, printer is fine. Even tried using the feed scanner with other computers and got same result. Nothing changed other than the results of the scanner... Please help. Screen shot below....
I have a, ImageClass MF634Cdw. I am running Windows 10 Pro. It is a wireless connection. I am the only computer in the house networked to use this printer. At random times, my printer just stops printing... anything. I will send a spreadsheet, document, PDF, JPEG, etc. to print and nothing happens. It could be the first or 100th print job of the day or print for days without incident and then *BAM* nothing; it does not matter. I have to restart my computer entirely, and every document that didn't print finally does so. Additionally, I *cannot* print any Publisher file. I have to save it as a PDF in order for it to print. Please advise. Thank you.
My Canon MB5460 has the support code 1660 shown. I have re-inserted the cartridges, turned it off and waited 10 minutes like the other posts have suggested but it still shows. Another thing it shows when i re-insert that it hasn't been pushed in properly, so i have to place some pressure with my finger and press next simultaneously so the next catrdidge can be moved on to.

I am attempting to print double-sided on standard weight 8.5 x 11 paper. The paper jams after printing one side and before printing the other.
The problem started when I attempted to use 110 lb paper to print double-sided. Now I can't do any double-sided printing at all.
What should I try?

Printer purchased in March. Installed using the supplied CD and worked perfectly.
3 days ago I updated windows. Im using Windows 10 64bit.
When I next used the scanner the following error occured.
mf635cx not scanning error 155 0 0
Scanner driver will be terminated
I then figured it had something to do with the OS update so I reinstalled using the CD, then restarted and the scanner worked perectly. Fast forward a day later and now I cant scan again with the same error occuring.
Any idea's on how I can resolve this?

I have a separate FAX machine I use for receiving FAXes, which is connected to a local-calls-only line. I only plan to use this one, which is connected to an unlimited calling line, to send FAXes long distance. There'a an answering machine connected to the line this printer is on, and everything is fine so long as I let it take the call. But if I hear a message being left from a "real" caller (we don't answer calls from numbers we don't recognize), and pick up on an extension, sometimes the printer starts trying to do a FAX sync. So I want to totally turn off FAX receiving. Can I? The best I've found was to set the delay time to 60 seconds.

Please help me with a Canon MB5020 multifuntion printer that's 3 months old.
For no reason, I have been unable to print over a WiFi as the print spooler indicated that "another operation" has the printer busy. On the MFP display, the message "Sending Fax" shows, even after restarting and resetting over and over.
I have removed and reinstalled my printer drivers but the problem persists.
I have even removed all fax programs from my PC and made sure any spool is empty.
I have upgraded the latest firmware.
Please advise.
I would hesitate to buy another Canon printer, although I find that it has the best ADF on the market, because of this infuriating problem.

I have a Canon MF726CDW color laser printer that has been very reliable for a number of years.
I came back from a weekend, turned on the printer and as it begins to start up, it clicks off, and restarts. It does this between 2 and 5 times, before finally completing its startup cycle, and then it appears to operate normally. I'm afraid to turn it off, fearing it won't turn on again.
I assume there is something gone bad with one of the power transisitors or capacitors on the control board; but I can't find anything about schematics or even replacement parts for this kind of part.

Pretty frustrated with my MF8380CDW. We recently switched ISPs from Comcast over to AT&T Fiber and thus lost our @comcast.net email address. Since then I've tried getting the scanner to send via email using SMTP for GMail, Yahoo, AOL, Hotmail, and GMX with no luck. Keep getting Error #806 on all of them. Printer is on the latest firmware and I've done a factory reset between each test on each mail provider, and updated the port settings properly each time. I'm at a loss here. TLS/SSL support for email on this device seems to be absent, which I find ridiculous given the intended consumer base for this printer.
What can I do to get this working? What providers are working for other users here?

I have had a 4800 series Canon printer for a number of years. It ordinarily 'sleeps' after 5 minutes, wakes for jobs when needed, no problems.
I recently replaced my Asus Router with a more robust Araknis Network and Switch. The problem is that the printer now wakes from sleep every hour, around the clock, for no apparent reason. Initially it was 1 minute after the hour, but now 2 minutes after the hour. Like clock-work.
I have rechecked all relevant settings on the printer, and nothing seems wrong.
I have involved SnapAV, who make the Araknis gear, they have logged into my system, and can't see a reason for this either.
This is a well-maintained Windows 10 Pro Dell 630i Desktop computer.
Also, this occurred with regular DHCP. I also configured both Router and Printer for a Static IP, but the hourly wake-up continues.
I'm hoping somebody can offer some insight, suggestions, or a way to fix this. Can provide other info if needed.

we have an Canon ImageCLASS MF633Cdw printer and an ImageCLASS LBP215x. Upon researching about imageclass I found out about the application library feature, specifically about standby slide. I configured the LBP215x to display our company logo. Now my problem focuses on the MF633Cdw. opening up the web gui reveals no Application Library button. but, the Standby Slide is on the Home Screen same as the Print Template. What is happening here? how can i configure Standby Slide and Print Template when Application Library isn't accessible?

I am writing to tell you about the problem that I have with "Canon imageCLASS MF236n All in One”.
We use this device in our office via the network. I setup the scanner settings in “Canon MF Scan Utility” to scan documents as a pdf file.
when we use feeder to scan documents and send it to a computer in our network, after a short time (Just after scan 7-10 sheets), “Paper Jammed” occurs and we should remove the papers and cancel the scan job.
I Hope you can give me some advice to solve this problem.
I've downloaded the scanner utility but get an error message Code:9,230,0 A scanner driver supporting this software is not installed. Install it and try again.
I've installed multiple times but still I get this message. I'm on Windows 10 64 bit.
After updating W10 update 1903, Canon scanner stop working. Deleting/ Installing Canon driver does not help.
Tried to start Canon MF Netword Scan utility --> won't start
Printing works fine.
Recently has started not letting me select my PC for saving doc, and today ran test print and keeps processing and not doing anything. Replaced low cartridge and won't identify that now. Any suggestions. Do not have Service Center in area.
