Our small company has 5 Canon MF4880 dw's. All five of them have performed flawlessly until recently - they are workhorses. Only 2 out of our 5 of these printers will produce a good clean copy or print. Three of them are producing black streaks - one of them exhibits small rectangular black bars along the right edge (long edge), and the other two exhibit black lines going down the long edge. We have tried new imaging units/cartridges in all three but this has not helped. There is supposed to be a "quality adjustment" and a "cleaning the fixing unit" that we can do, but none of our printers will do it - it says "load letter or A4 paper" but the tray is already full.

Canon does not support scanning on Mac OS
I have bought two Imageclass MF644 CDW AIO laser printers. But I now am really sorry I ever dealt with Canon.
They do not support scanning on Mac OS Catalina
Canon rep basically said, well you know apple...like they did not know it was happening or never talked to Apple or most likely, just don't want to invest the resources to actually support their product.
In September I asked for my email to be put on a list as to when support for scanning would be availabe. \
No word.
Thus I can only print and can use just half of the product I purchased.
DO NOT BUY CANON PRINTERS.

iPF670 Issues - Ink Usage, Win 10 driver & Ink Levels
Just got a Canon iPF670 primarily for printing cad drawings.
1) Using all 5 ink colors on a monchrome B/W CAD print
2) The Win 10 printer driver looses contact with the printer
3) The printer is not reflecting correct ink levels.

Issues with scanning to email - MF644cdw
I've changed the smtp port to 587. I'm using smtp.gmail.com and my username is myemail@gmail.com and my password is the password for myemail@gmail.com. I have the "Use TLS for SMTP" checked as well. I've gone into google and allowed for apps with less security to be on. I do not have double verification activated.
It just prints off a TX Result Report that says error. I've tried about 20 different configurations and I'm at my wits end.
I'm using a chromebook and I downloaded the app, which works but I do not want to rely on the app if someone else is trying to use the printer. I do not care for google cloud print (printer can't register with it for whatever reason and Google is discontinuing that service so why bother).
What options should I look at to fix this issue? It is incredibly frustrating and I really do not want to go back to my old printer (even through it is much more user friendly).

D420 image class laser printer unable to get it to work on new desktop
I am hoping that someone can help me figure out how to get my printer to work on my new desktop computer. I downloaded the drivers and toolbox but my new computer can't find it. I ran diagnostics and still unable to find it. The printer worked fine on my other computer that was also running windows 10 and the new computer is also running windows 10

Software poor
I have a MF644Cdw and it takes way to many clicks to print preview before printing and may not work at times. Clicking on outupt method "Edit and Preview" does not stay for all time, you need to do this for every print, how do you set this for always?

iPF8000s prints leading whitespace
Our Canon iPF8000s has started printing a leading half-inch edge of whitespace before printing jobs. This makes an excess that needs to be trimmed off, and over the course of a roll wastes a significant amount of paper. I could not find a setting to fix this, please help!

Initial impressions of Canon MF733Cdw is it just doesn't work reliably - is it just me?
Hello everyone,,
This printer on paper ticks ALL the boxes for a home office. AND, it's on sale for $200+ off at major retailers. I had been considering an HP MF477FDW, but this Canon was newer, cheaper, AND it scans at 600dpi from the ADF (the HP only does 300DPI from the ADF).
Unfortunately, it just doesn't work reliably. Note that the FIRST thing I did was update to the latest firmware. It's on a WiFi network connected via an Orbi router. It's one room away from the main router and reports good signal strength, but then mysteriously disconnects after a day or two and refuses to reconnect unless I run through the WiFi setup process again. (Done this half a dozen times at least so far.)
Even when it's connected to WiFi, I frequently get mysterious and inscrutable error messages such as "Error Code: 2100009" when I try to scan something. The documentation is abysmal, and few people seem to have purchased this exact model as I get very few hits when I search for results.
I'm using macOS; it's possible that the printer might be a little more reliable on Windows (not counting the WiFi disconnection issues.) I plan to contact Canon support, but seriously wondering whether I've made a huge mistake and whether I might need to try and replace this device.
Any other experiences with this MFP? I'm hoping there are some lesser-known advanced configuration options that I can tweak which might help make it more reliable.

MF642cdw, how do I save the settings?
Evening all,
Just purchased this week, I've been successful in setting it up and would like to save the settings to a file of some type, so if I do have issues/problems, it can easily be reset to a known setting.
Looked thru the manual, FAQ's, and this forum.... anyone know if the above can be done????

MF644Cdw - Toner Status software not working
I just got this printer. Installed software. Scan Utility loads fine. Got the latest driver from Canon. Printer prints great.
BUT... the Toner Status app will not load. It shows it is installed. But click on it and nothing loads. Ideas?

MF644CDW scan to e-mail issue
I have searched the forum and tried to use the solutions that other people implemented but to no avail. I have tested both an Hotmail account and a Google account, but neither works (and the error message that prints is just "error").
Let's go with Hotmail, since I know Google has higher security protocols.
I have a color imageclass MF644Cdw running in a Windows 10.
If I go to here:

I can enter the email address and SMTP settings.
- Hotmail SMTP server name: smtp.live.com
- Hotmail SMTP user name: your Hotmail account
- Hotmail SMTP password: your Hotmail password
It looks like some users have had success adjusting the port:
- Hotmail SMTP port: 25 or 465
But how do I enter that? The interface does not give me the option to do so. Thanks in advance!

MF733Cdw - Error - E021-1000
MF733Cdw - Purchased this printer in June 2019. It's been working fine until this past week. I have an error E021-1000. I have tried powering off the printer and restarting it several times per the error description/message. Message also says to call my dealer or service representative if that doesn't work. I purchased the printer thru Amazon.com. I called the local service people listed when I search for service on the Canon page. Those folks basically gave us a ton of push back to the effect that they would not work on this printer since we didn't purchase from them.
What does this error mean?
Who/Where do I need to go to have the printer repaired?
I am truly disappointed by the quality of the Canon printer - hard fail after only 6 months - and - no service.
Thoughts, suggestions or any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

MF628cw Toner Issues
I have had an MF628cw for a few years and we have used it to the point that new toner is required. The problem is that I had an extra set of brand new Canon genuine toner cartridges and replaced them all, yet the printer still says the toner needs to be replaced. I looked through the menus and can't seem to find a place that you need to reset anything related to the toner. For a time we were able to press the warning buttons and continue printing but now the printer has stopped printing altogether. I'm afraid to buy new toner and see the exact same issue, wasting my time and money. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Two identical MF644Cdw units are showing streaks in the exact same spot
I bought the first unit a couple weeks ago, and noticed that all my color scans had a streak on them. You can see it right next to the woman's sholder on the second scan. I received a second identical scanner, and the exact same line appears. I rotated the image, but this from two completely different scanners. Any idea what would be causing this?

Pro-100 imposes limitations on Fine Art papers??
I've learned there is a driver imposed restriction on borderless printing on the Pro-100 with Fine Art papers.
The instructions for the ICC profiles say to select Other Fine Art Paper 1, but that's not possible with a borderless page setup. Why not??
I'm forced to use the closest Photo Paper media, which makes the ICC profile suspect. The print otherwise looks beautiful.
Is there any way around this restriction? I've combed the manual and unchecked Check the paper size when printing on A3+ Fine Art Paper, but have found no resolution.
It's frustrating, because I know the printer can handle borderless on the papers in question (Canson PrintMaking Rag and Rag Photographique), but the driver is preventing me from using the correct media type.

mf264dw error E015-0001 after putting new cartridge in errors wont go away
Good morning,
Anyone can help me fix this issue? I have recently purchased a refurbished toner cartridge of Canon printer MF264dw, and when I put in the new cartridge in this error pop up. I have tried to reset it and it still won't go away.
on phone with Canon support, but there is about an hour's wait time.
Any suggestions?

MB2020 error under Mac OS Catalina
I am running Mac OS 10.15.1 (19B88) on a Macbook Pro. I installed the following printer drivers/software which I downloaded from the Canon website today:
