Maximum Image size setting

Hello,

 

I have a Maxify MB2120 printer.

 

I am trying to change the "Maximum Image Size" for this printer so that I can use the tiling feature to make a larger print.

 

Right now it keeps telling me that my setting is at 132 MB, but my image is at 215 MB.

 

Anyone know how to change this setting?

Cann't add scanner on iMac. MF8280CW

Hi, I have MF8280CW and i installed printing driver and added printer als "Bonjur" type and ewerytching working fine thru WiFi connection. Then I installed scanner driver, and when I'm try to run it (MF Toolbox) instantly im getting error message that it can't find scaner. It's the same when I'm trying to run "Canon MF Scan Utility", I'm getting error message, but it let me to add scaner but dont find any from "bonjur" type and when I'm try whitch "IP" and put correct ip adress I'm getting "This scanner is not supported" 

What can i do ??

 

Operating system: MacOS 10.13.6

mf8350cdn cannot perform "Clean Fixer Unit" and printing problems

I was printing some color pages when the printer suddenly printed a very low-quality B&W page, then started making a noise like it was trying to feed more paper, but doesn't.

 

No error codes or anything come up.

 

I tried restarting and it just makes the same 'failed paper feed' noise until I cancel the job and turn it off.

 

I cleaned the ITB, but when I try to clean the Fixing Unit, the same noise happens and nothing else for many minutes until I cancel and turn off.

 

Any ideas what could be wrong?

TONER STATUS INDICATOR

I recently purchased a new computer and got my CANON Imageclass MF232W printer installed without a problem.

 

But...whenever I open the Canon Office Printer Utility, I see a message saying, "The toner status details cannot be displayed." I think this is probably just because I haven't downloaded or installed a program or driver or something. The utility does give me the option to "Download Software," but I'm not sure what I need to download and install that will enable me to see my toner status.

 

Can anybody advise me?

Is Canon going to fix the iR-ADV C5535 III / iR-ADV C5535 III / driver to work with the ID Management?  This is a very important tool we use in our firm for our cost recovery and one of the main reasons we got the printer.  Our managing partner is considering canceling the lease contract if it can't be fixed.

I have tried via network connection, via USB connection on both a Mac and a Windows computer.  It fails every time and prints a page with Q Smiley Happy$  

 

I did a search but cannot find this issue mentioned.

Colors not as vivid when using proper Canon driver for LPB622CDW

Per my attached photos, I am having trouble getting my LPB622C to repoduce colors as vividly as it did when I was using the generic print driver on my MacBook. 

 

The image show the prints on the left using the generic driver, and the prints on the right using the proper Canon driver. 

 

Settings are for the proper paper type (24#), and I have increased the toner density for CMYK to +8 on all. I have also turned off grayscale compensation with the intent of acheving a "rich black". 

 

In general, the colors appear washed out since I started using the Canon driver. Howver it did allow me to print at a higher resolution than the geneic driver, which was the original issue I was trying to solve. I was not expecting the Canon driver to make the colors less vivid. 

 

The colors actually look a bit more vivid and dark in this photo than they do in person. 

 

In the purple art photo, then center version is the generic driver, and the versions on either side are the Canon driver with stock settings on the left, and the manal settings (mentioned above) on the right side. 

 

Any help regading the settings I should be using is appreciated. goblin-color-compare.jpg

Cannot close feeder

Just received my MF445dw. Took it out the box to set it up. Opend the feeder (platen glass cover) to remove shipping styrofoam, now the feeder won't close. not sure what's going on or how to close. Super fustrating.


ImageCLASS LBP6230dw Will Not Print

I've spent a couple hours browsing previous posts regarding this printer and could not find any solutions.

 

My printer was working just fine a month ago, but now it refuses to print.

 

I've removed and re-added it in Control Panel several times. I've installed it both wirelessly and while plugged in via USB. The printer installs just fine, but will not print. Even at the end of the install process and it gives me the option to print a "test page", it will not print. I'll click the button, the "Add Printer" dialog box will freeze, then finally say that it has been sent to the printer, but nothing prints. I've even had the printer job queue open before I press the "Print Test Page" button. Nothing ever gets sent to the printer.

 

The printer will print the Data sheet if I press the Paper key button on the top for 5 seconds. IP address, Default Gateway, Subnet Mask, etc are all fine. I can even successfully ping the printer in the CMD prompt. I can even connect to the UI Login page by entering the IP as a URL. No idea what the PIN is, so I can't log in though.

 

I've tried running the Windows diagnostic and it has not detected any problems. I've tried with multiple computers ...

 

Windows 10 v1909 (OS Build 18363.1256)

Windows 10 v1803 (OS Build 17134.1304)

My mom's old Windows 7 laptop (don't have access to it at the moment)

 

I've tried installing the driver under Compatability mode using Windows 8 and Windows 7.

 

I've tried rebooting the printer several times. I've even tried resetting it (I've pressed the reset button in the back for 30 seconds and it doesn't seem to do anything. It still has the same network settings when I print the data sheet again afterwards).

 

I am officially at a loss of what to try next. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. 

Canon MF3240 and Windows 10 Saga

Hi, 

I have a Canon Imageclass MF3240 printer and a Laptop with Windows 10

I am trying to use it to print and scan.

 

When I connect to the laptop it does not plug and play.

Issue #1: In device manager no printer icons or unknown devices

 

So went ahead and downloaded the windows 10 64it MF3240 drivers from the Canon website

Installed prenter drivers using ContrlPane;l > devices > Printer > Add New Printer > Have disk > Download driver.

I can now see the printer as MF3240 series in the device Mgr

Issue #2: Cannot print the test page or any page. Gives Error: Printer in Error state

Removed the device from the Printers and individually install the  .INF files by right-clicking each file in the downloaded driver folder.

'Issue #3: Cannot see andy print or print the test page or any page.

Removed the device and tried to install the Windows 7 64bit driver for the printer

I can now see the printer as MF3240 series in the device Mgr

Issue #4 Cannot print the test page or any page. Gives Error: Printer in Error state

 

Changed the printer cable to see if that was the issue ...No printer was not the issue

I have trying for some time and looking up forums everywhere and tried all the above with no success.

I do not wish to throw the printer. If anyone and guide me so that I can print and scan on this printer

Typically about 20 pages/month across 2 or 3 print jobs.
Better to turn [On] Imageclass LBP622Cdw as needed or keep machine always powered up?

Color imageCLASS MF642Cdw Loud Clicking Noise

Hello,

 

I have had this printer for a little over a year.  Last night, while printing several pages front and back, I noticed a very loud clicking noise.  Kind of like something was trying to grab but could not.  Everything seemed to print, and I got no error.  But the clicking has me concerned.  I pulled out the paper tray and looked for jammed paper, saw nothing.  I re seated the toner, which I thought helped but it came back. I do use third party toner, I can't afford the good stuff.  It's not new toner, I have been using these catridges for a few months now with no issue.

MF264DW Paper jams every time, right out of the box

I just bought a new ImageCLASS MF264dw, pulled it out of the box, carefully removed all of the tape and packing stuff, easily linked it to my wifi network, loaded paper, and sent a test print. 

 

Jam.

 

Followed the instructions to clear the jam. 

 

Jam. Jam. Jam. Jam. Jam. Jam. 

 

The paper is not getting past the drum. It looks like it's slamming into it rather than rolling by it. Any help appreciated as I'm getting really tired of the endless wait on the phone for technical support and I can't find anything else in Canon's FAQs. 

MF445dw printer/scanner will not print or scan to Mac

I have a Mac OS 10.15.7 (Catalina).  I recently bought a MF445dw printer/scanner and downloaded the appropriate printer and scanner installation to my mac for the MF 445dw.  I was previously able to print but today, my Mac now says the printer is not responding even though my printer shows that it is added.  Also, I tried to scan for the first time today.  When I am on the device display window, I hit scan, then "send to computer," and I get a message saying my computer is not connected. On my Mac, I went to MF Scan Utility next to the Apple > Network Scanner Settings and made sure the box was checked for the MF440 series, but this did not change anything.  I also tried opening MF Toolbox next to the Apple > Network Scanner Settings, but no scanner was there, and when I clicked + nothing happened and I couldn't add a scanner.  Can anyone help?  I've already re-downloaded the scanner installation.

Color imageCLASS MF644Cdw - 839 - 806 Error

Hello,

 

I recently bought Color imageCLASS MF644Cdw. Everything is set but my scan and email option is still giving me errors.

 

I tried all the possible ways, watched so many tutorials, read so many blogs, followed all the instructions but nothing working.

 

I do not know what to do at this point other than just return it back.

 

Anyone here who can help me setting up my printer before I completely decide to return it?

 

When I scan and email through my printer, rather than sending to my email, a print paper comes out with an error and when I check in Status Monitor - TX Job it shows sometimes 839 nad sometime 806 error.

 

I am using my gmail account and followed all the instruction how to set SMTP but still no luck.

Autocad printing problem

Can i ask something i get ipf770
When i send a print a big one like 5 meter from autocad work fine but if its 6 meter the printer just print 1cm then take out white sheet about 3 meter and start printing from the half why
I donwload the last driverer and update and still the same problems

Printing from pdf just fine but pdf drop the lines quilty

Is there something from the advance settings or the job memory or something to fix this issues please help

Hardware Reset for MF73CDW

How do I perform a hardware reset for a MF743CDW?  For some reason, the log in and password I originally set got changed and I am unable to make changes to the configuration (network, hostname, etc.).

 

I can't do a initialize settings because the login and password are changed.  I have tried 7654321 as the PIN.

 

I have tried the PIN I set, to no avail.

Scanner stopped relaying

I have two Canon machines in my office and they have worked for years (IRV 4525).  An hour ago, both will not transmit scans to email.  They print an error page that the TX is incomplete.  

My scans relay to a gmail account.

 

Has anyone else started to experience this today?

MF643C printer #822 error with MacOS

Hello all,

 

I have a MF642C printer(purchased Nov, 2019) on my home network. I have Win10 and MACOS (High Sierra 10.13.xx) on the same subnet.

Print job from Windows 10 goes flawlessly. But have had problems with the MAC from day 1.

I've upgraded the firmware on the printer to the latest.

 

The MAC is able to see the printer, but none of the print job sent to this printer gets printed out.

 

I would sometimes get #853 error sometimes, but most recently, #822.

 

I checked the online information and understand that #853 is "file too large", despite they're no more than 15 pages document normally. But I can sort of understand if the printer doesn't have a big buffer.

 

But #822 is what's troubling. It says "Data can not be processed (image can not be decoded)". Even with a one page document from web browsers(Tried Safari and Chrome) would result in this issue. 

 

Is this a known issue? Is there a solution for it?
